| SANTON,
although finally being sold to the Argentine navy, had a brief spell with
the Royal New Zealand Navy between April 1965 and November 1966 taking
part in anti-infiltration patrols on Malaysian waters around Singapore -
Malacca Straights and in the Sarawak - Sabah areas.
