DUNKERTON was commissioned into the South African Navy on 22nd August 1955 and re-named 'PRETORIA'. After being laid Up in December 1985, she was bought by Mr Charles Bates and used as a museum ship in Hout Bay SA. She was later sold on and completely revamped and, as she is today, re-named 'M/V MADIBA. (Update: Ship now re-named GOLDEN FIREFLY)
