28 was launched on 7th April 1943 as a German boom defence training tender. In
1945 she was acquired by the RN and, in 1948, re-named DIVER. She served as
a Mine Location Vessel, attached to 1st Minesweeping Experimental Flotilla
based at Port Edgar on the Forth until her sale, in 1959, to the Italians
becoming M/V PEMBRIA.
