| ASHTON
took part in the Earthquake relief of Sicily on 15th January 1968 before
sailing to Gibraltar to become part of the Reserve Fleet. After returning
to the RN Fleet in 1972 for Fishery Protection duties, she was towed from
Rosyth to be broken up at Blyth on 3rd August 1977.
